AND SHE DID IT AGAIN!! plus THIS LITTLE BLURB CAUGHT MY EYE ...

Went to the gym last night and walked on the track after about 12 minutes of walking my left ankle starting giving out.. rather than giving up I went and got on the sit down eliptical machine.. and stayed on it for 20 minutes getting my heart rate up too 122 .. yay me.. if the weather is not bad on my way home.. I am going to stop at the gym again today.. if not I will do it Thursday evening after work..... and I have to tell you when I exercise I feel much better than when I do not.. so there must be something good going on~~~..

This caught my eye .. OBESE TO BE BANNED FROM RESTUARANTS IN MISS

what do you think about that? Helping and encouraging is one thing.. but BANNING??? sheesh....
Wish me well
Wish you well too

I'm so proud of you for getting out there and moving your body. I'm sorry your ankle has other ideas, perhaps its best to keep the impact low for it. Slow and steady wins the race!

Well done for exercising! Keep it up!

I'm appalled by the notion that a restaurant can refuse to serve a customer based on his weight. Can anyone say Nazism? It is not wise to punish the consumer, you need to punish the purveyors of fat! The comsumer needs to be educated and given easy access to sumptuous healthy alternatives. Besides, who gets to decide that a customer is obese. The waiter? He's a waiter, for heavens sake, not a doctor or a dietician! The obese have rights too, and I think that being shamed in public would be an infringement of those rights.

Oh, and another thing! What am I supposed to do if I were to visit Mississippi as a tourist? I guess I'll be spending my tourists dollars in another state!

Are they banning drive thru's too?

Save us all from stupidity!

Great for you! High five!! Yay!! Exercise does make an over all improvement. Not just in physical benefits but pyschological ones as well. This is wonderful news you have posted. Very happy for you!

On the restuarant thing how about they think things a different way. Like fine the manufactures and restaurants who make such fattening things to sell. How about imposing special high fine liscencing for those that want to make it. Or added taxes to those who use certain ingredients to make their product. Why do we have to have rules and fines on the user end. Why not have it on the maker end. Gee, I guess if I pass through that great state, I'll have to forgo eating...lol..not.
