Menu for today so far & A few other odds and ends..

My CALORIE INTAKE TOTAL WILL BE 1300 PER DAY :

BREAKFAST:
KASHI HONEY SUNSHINE CEREAL W/ SKIM MILK -240

LUNCH:
COTTAGE CHEESE- 90
EASY MAC AND CHEESE- 220

SNACKS THROUGH OUT THE DAY:
ACITVA YOGURT- 70
Beans, Snap, Green - Raw- 34
Carrots - 53
RANCH DIP -35
Mangos-54
Watermelon- 50
WHEAT THINS FIBER CRACKERS- 120

TOTAL CALORIES CONSUMED THAT WILL BE CONSUMED SO FAR FOR THE DAY: 962
NOT SURE WHAT DINNER WILL BRING..

I know my lunch is odd but I still am having digestive issues and that mac and cheese while not the greatest choice goes down easy and stays down... and its only 220 with 4 grams of fat.. I added the cottage cheese .. because it is the breakstone probiotic servings.. for 90 calories and it also provides protein as well.
I am also considering taking part in a program called the body sensor program.. I will have more info on that soon. From what i know so far.. ( yes it is gadgetry as my husband might say.. he does not care for these things but I think its a good idea)
You wear an arm band and wrist watch device that monitors, your heart rate, blood pressure, sleep and sleep efficiency , calorie burning efficiency, calories, via your body tempature and something else. I would wear this device for 6 weeks, 24/7 minus swim time (which I would manually enter) or shower time. It is a tool to let you know whats going on with your body. You plug it in to your pc and then u go to A website and it downloads all your info.. you have to input your food log , they provide the log as well. and it has reports on calorie consumption, etc. Your doctor or nutritionist or whoever you want can log onto your website via your password and see whats going on with you. you can print out numerous different types of reports and see where you need to alter or change things. For example if your body is not metabolizing food well it will tell you.. or if your exercise needs to be increased to burn more calories it will tell you. ITs a good behavior modification tool.. One that requires a lot of work.. but to me seems like a great tracking device.. What makes it good too is that normally this program runs around 500- to 700 DOLLARS to just lease the device and get a subscription. I get it for free. since I already paid for the Healthy Weight for EveryBody program. Apparently no one registered for the class yet. So my nutritionist wants me to try this program.. a lot of folks do not want to commit to it.. but it kinda looks fun to me.. .. a while back she had a client that did it and eventually bought his own device to monitor himself on his own.. I like the fact that my nutritionist can log in.. or even my doctor and see whats going on.. on a daily basis.. so we could possibily correct issues along the way..
Seeing doctor on Friday to get results of MRI I had yesterday of my C spine.. been in hell pain.. so hopefully we can see whats going on with the herniations I have.. pain is telling me that things are not doing to well in my spine.. hopefully with some meds and pt I can get to feeling better... got off the tradnazone and am on adivan to sleep at night and ultram for day pain .. its a non narcotic pain killer.. ..

Wow, the body sensor program sounds very interesting. I might be up for something like that but I could not afford the price. I can't wait to hear your experience with it if you decide to try it.

I love visiting over here........so many interesting things going on! That is pretty low calories...just my 2cents.....if you find you aren't losing,you may need to up the calories so your body doesn't think it's starving ;)
